Height/Percentile: 22 inches, 75th percentile
Weight/Percentile: 11 lbs 11 oz, 95th percentile
Sleeping Patterns: It depends! Adeline woke up to nurse every two hours for the first two weeks, then switched over nursing every three to four hours at night. It was a glorious change! That extra hour or two was just what I needed!
Eating Habits: On demand! It changes every single day! Some days, she'll eat every hour. Other days, she'll go two to four hours between feedings! And she is one hungry baby! She LOVES to nurse! And I'm producing enough to where I feel like she's drowning in it! But she's not, obviously!
New Discoveries: Sticking her tongue out and sucking on her hands!
Accomplishments: Her umbilical stump fell off when she was three weeks old, and since then, we've started tummy time with her! She is VERY strong and can hold up her head for about 20 to 30 seconds at a time! And she just keeps getting stronger and stronger and holding up her head longer and longer!
Places Visited: We took her to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo when she was just a week old! It was crazy, but we were very careful and kept her covered up! She slept the entire time! We also took her to Church, a friend's bridal shower, and visited quite a few of our friend's houses! She travels well, we are grateful for that! But she doesn't like the car seat unless it's in the car and the car is moving!
Loves to: Snuggle, nurse/breastfeed, be held, root around, kick her legs, use her voice, and stretch out!
Doesn't like: Laying down when she's awake,
Milestones/Firsts: Adeline started smiling within her first day of life! And since then, she's been smiling a TON! She loves to hear our voices! And she'll respond to each of our voices differently! It's so cute! She also started wearing cloth diapers! But within a few days, she got a yeast infection and we're still trying to clear it up before we can put her back them!
What Mommy/Daddy love: Her chubby cheeks! For real, though! We cannot get enough of them!
